RIDGEONS League Premier Division Hadleigh United record an emphatic 5-1 victory over Basildon United on Saturday.
Mark Roper put the home side ahead from the penalty spot before Will King equalised for the Essex Senior League side. Ben Deacon claimed the last touch to restore Hadleigh’s lead before the break after Duane Wright’s effort had been blocked.
Warren Taylor-Holt made it 3-1 after a defensive mistake before Craig Payne turned smartly to fire in the fourth. Taylor-Holt blasted home the fifth after Hadleigh cut the visitors’ defence wide open.
