Essex Cricket Club have announced that their ground is to be renamed as The Cloudfm County Ground in a new partnership with a local firm.

Cloudfm is a fast-growing and innovative facilities management company, based in Colchester. They have signed a three-year deal which will see The Essex County Ground completely rebranded.

Derek Bowden, Essex Cricket chief executive, said: “Cloudfm have shown a real desire from the beginning to not only be a ground-naming sponsor but to actively support us in our mission to delight members, supporters, players and our community.

“This is an excellent partnership for the club and will see a large-scale local business come on-board and be part of an exciting future for Essex Cricket.”

Jeff Dewing, Cloudfm’s chief executive officer, added: “This is an exciting new chapter for Cloudfm.”
