A FAMILY of six have been left temporarily homeless after fire broke out in a house in Witham this afternoon.The blaze began at around a quarter to three in the living room of the property in Pitt Road.

A FAMILY of six have been left temporarily homeless after fire broke out in a house in Witham this afternoon.
The blaze began at around a quarter to three in the living room of the property in Pitt Road.
One woman, aged 50, and five children escaped from the house before two fire crews arrived to tackle the blaze.
The woman suffered smoke inhalation and received oxygen treatment from rescue workers at the scene.
The fire was out at around 3.15pm. Tonight the family are planning to stay with relatives.
