ESSEX have announced two changes to their original 2012 fixture list.
The Friends Life t20 fixture between Essex Eagles and Kent Spitfires at The Ford County Ground which was scheduled to take place on Tuesday, June 26 will now be played on Wednesday, June 20, start 7pm.
The fixture has been switched due to a clash with England’s Group D European Championship 2012 match with hosts Ukraine.
The Friends Life t20 away fixture to be played at The Kia Oval on Friday, June 15 has now changed to Wednesday 13 June.
Danny Macklin, Essex Cricket commercial manager, said: “We understand that during this sporting year, a number of our supporters would like to get behind both the Essex Eagles and England so have changed the date after positive correspondence with both the ECB and Kent County Cricket Club.”
