Former St Joseph’s College pupil and Colchester RFC player Ethan Waddleton has been selected in the England squad for the Red Rose’s latest round of games in the HSBC World Sevens Series, in Las Vegas.
Waddleton was first called up earlier this month to represent England at the New Zealand stage of the tournament – Simon Amor’s side finishing fourth.
England then finished seventh in Australia, with an injury-hit squad, and will now head to Nevada for the next stage of the tournament, which starts next Friday.
Amor’s side will face Japan, Scotland and Australia in Las Vegas and are currently sixth in the overall standings after four rounds, 18 points adrift of leaders, Fiji.
