EVERTON boss David Moyes wants to snap up Middlesbrough midfielder Gary O'Neil - but faces a fight with Roy Hodgson's Fulham. (Daily Mirror)
Moyes hopes to push through a �2.5 million deal for O'Neil by the weekend, but the move is stalling because of complications in several parts of the deal.
O'Neil would prefer to head for London and knows of Fulham's interest, although the Craven Cottage outfit are yet to follow up an initial inquiry.
Moyes is growing frustrated over the wait. He has run into similar problems with Swede Rasmus Elm who has been to Goodison for talks but is now meeting Hamburg and Valencia.
