Felixstowe 4 North Walsham 1
Felixstowe continued their excellent record in Division 3NE with another comfortable home victory.
It was not long after the pushback that a searching through ball from Steve Taylor found Matt Burden clean through on goal, who took his chance well to make it 1-0 to the Seasiders.
A series of short corners for the home team looked threatening, particularly with the drag-flick capabilities of Alex Woodhouse who soon dispatched another top corner effort to double Felixstowe's lead.
Felixstowe were well in control of the match at this point and continued to dominate the first half of play. Another short corner was intricately worked, this time to enable Jack Entwistle to apply the finishing touch into the roof of the net.
The second half began with the away side securing more possession, largely as a result of Felixstowe's poor passing. It seemed that a touch of complacency had set in and the visitors capitalised to pull one back.
However, Felixstowe grabbed a late goal to secure the victory, striker Paul Muchal flicking home past the despairing goalkeeper.
This was after skipper Nick Smith was unlucky not to score having hit the woodwork with a thunderbolt strike against the top of the post.
