Felixstowe started the match with a mixture of old and new players and a stand in goalkeeper, the youngsters immediately taking the game to the Ipswich's defence.
Their speed and passing belied the fact that some hadn't even met each other before the match began.
After only ten minutes Felixstowe were rewarded with a goal and, by half time, were 3-0 up following goals by Lizzie, Phoebe and Chloe.
Ipswich continued to attack and frequently tested the experienced defenders and the new keeper, Sarah, who made several good saves to keep the score card clean.
Ipswich were unlucky not to score in the second half when their forwards hit the post.
Two more goals by Lizzie and Phoebe secured the win and, despite some strong attacking moves by the visitors, Ipswich were unable to score.
