Felixstowe & Walton will be hoping that being presented with the Thurlow Nunn team of the month for October and November before the game will not prove to be a banana skin as they host Thetford Town at the Goldstar Ground on Saturday in a Premier League clash, writes Phil Griffiths.
The two sides met in a bad-tempered affair in September which the Seasiders won less comfortably than the 5-0 scoreline suggests, and they can expect another tough afternoon if they are to complete the double over the Norfolk side.
Thetford arrive on the back of a mixed bag of results, having lost twice and won four of their last six games but with plenty of goals in that bag, having scored 17 times in those half dozen games.
The Seasiders have a tough run of fixtures coming up through January, and know that if second-placed Coggeshall can string another run of wins together they will be breathing down their necks after playing their games in hand.
But the hosts do have their destiny firmly in their own hands at present, and three points would make it three wins in a row, going into those games.

The Seasiders will be hoping to have Joe Francis back in action after missing the last two games through injury, together with striker Sam Ford, who has also struggled to overcome a niggling injury since signing for the club.
One player they will be without is striker Craig Jennings, who has found the travelling difficult and moved on to Debenham LC, by mutual agreement.

There were a couple of further injuries picked up in last week’s match at Long Melford, and the Seasiders’ management will hoping the players have recovered in time for this game and have a near full squad available for selection. With matches coming thick and fast, the niggling injuries are part and parcel of the modern game, and show the necessity of having a large enough squad to cope.
The noticeable uplift in the team that comes from the supporters and bigger attendances at the Goldstar, should stand them in good stead on the run-in.
