Mildenhall Fen Tigers made it three National Trophy wins in four days as their impressive start to the 2018 continued.
Devoid of track action because of the weather so far this season, Kevin Jolly’s side have enjoyed three stunning victories – away at Isle of Wight, Plymouth and then this afternoon at West Row against Kent.
It has put them top of their National Trophy table.
Skipper Jordan Jenkins roared to a 15-point maximum against the Kings as the whole team produced another solid performance.
On a hot afternoon, Mildenhall took an early grip on the meeting and never let off.
Josh Bailey and Sam Beebee got the home side off to a perfect 5-1 start, while Jenkins and Ryan Kinsley repeated the dose in heat three after Kings’ Nathan Stoneman fell.
Matt Marson held off Jack Thomas and Thomas was again pipped, this time by a flying Bailey in heat six.
Danny Ayres and Drew Kemp, who was unbeaten in both the Isle of Wight and Plymouth meetings, put the home side 18 ahead after seven races and although Kent hit back a race later, there was to be no comeback.
The Fen Tigers had the points in the bag with three races to go.
