Ipswich Town take on high-flying Sheffield United at Bramall Lane in a Championship clash next Saturday.
With the Blades back in the second-tier following a six-year absence, a rivalry is renewed. The Yorkshire side became dubbed ‘the Norwich of the North’ by Blues fans following a series of memorable and often feisty clashes in the late 90s and early 00s.
Joe Royle says his favourite game in charge of the Blues was a dramatic 3-2 comeback win against Neil Warnock’s visitors in February 2003.
Town were reduced to 10 men early on, went 2-0 down, but rallied to seal all three points and raise the roof at Portman Road.
