Five fillies who won on their last appearance on a racecourse, clash in the feature on Newmarket’s six-race card on the July course this evening.

The feature, a fillies’ handicap over a mile at 7.50pm sees Etaab the likely favourite following her hat-trick of victories at Doncaster, Great Yarmouth and Lingfield since May.

Ridden by Dane O’Neill for trainer William Haggas, Etaab faces a stiff test from Water Hole and Fray.

William Buick rides John Gosden’s Water Hole, a winner at Doncaster three weeks ago while James Doyle is on Fray for Roger Charlton, the filly having won at Newmarket a fortnight ago.

The other class three race on the card is the finale at 8.20pm, a six-furlong handicap in which Go Far, first at Great Yarmouth last week under Martin Harley for Alan Bailey, tries to carry an additional six pounds to victory.

Also in the race are Creeb, O’Neill for Charlie Hills, and Richard Hughes on Richard Hannon’s Our Queenie. They met at the course on July 26, Creeb ninth and Our Queen fourth in Fast Track’s contest.

The opener at 5.40pm features six two-year-olds in which Hughes and Hannon have the favourite in Guilty, a Newmarket winner recently.

Spring Offensive and Azraff are the key rivals.

The two-year-olds in the seller at 6.10pm have to go over seven furlongs with former Great Yarmouth winner Ciara’s Cookie the likely market leader for John Egan and trainer David Evans.

There are 12 debutants contesting the 6.45pm maiden, 11 colts and one filly. Of the newcomers, favourites are Acaster Malbis, Hughes for Hannon, Inshaa, O’Neill for Sir Michael Stoute and Hill and Dales, Silvestre de Sousa for Godolphin.

A field of 11 take their chance in the 7.15pm 10-furlong handicap for which Daaree, O’Neill for Saeed bin Suroor is favourite. Indian Trifone, Doyle for Ed Walker and the Dennis Quinn trained Giantstepsahead, a dual Great Yarmouth winner this summer, under Jack Mitchell, are the main threats.
