In their first game for eight weeks, Dynamos got off the mark in the first couple of minutes with Jack Hausden lobbing the Marks Tey 'keeper in fine style. Sam Ashby added Cornard's second a few minutes later converting a Lewis Howard corner. Cornard's 'keeper, Tom Clarke was quick off his line to snuff out a couple of chances for the visitors. Cody Ennis-Hadley added another Cornard goal following some good interplay and a Marks Tey goal completed the scoring for the half. The second half started evenly with chances falling to both sides, Man of the match Frankie Edwards coming close for Cornard several times following determined work and Tyler Beer clearing a Marks Tey shot off the Cornard goalline. Callum Smith took some pressure off, scoring Cornard's fourth with a clinical finish to a sweeping, passing move that involved most of Cornard's players - a true team goal. The impressive and energetic Ennis-Hadley completed his hat-trick adding two more quality finishes to see Cornard through to the Quarter-Finals as 6 - 1 victors.
