Australian winger Tommy Oar has returned to former club Brisbane Roar following his release from Ipswich Town.
Oar left the Blues last month despite only signing on a free transfer in the summer, after leaving FC Utrecht, citing his inability to settle in Suffolk as the reason for his departure.
He has now returned to his first professional club on a deal for the rest of this season and two further years, having last played for the Roar in 2010 prior to his move to Europe.
“Tommy is a quality player with a proven record in top-flight football,” said Roar’s football operations manager Craig Moore.
“His signing continues Head Coach John Aloisi’s intentions to bring the best and brightest players to the club.”
