SUNDAY sees a nice mix of football and speedway with a round ball game between an Ipswich Wanderers all star side and an Ipswich Witches XI.
Proceeds from the game will go towards the Kim Jansson fund and the cost of new changing rooms at Humber Doucy Lane where the match will be played.
A cricket match between the Witches and a Media XI in July was a big success, and raised around 1,200 for Swede Jansson, who has been left in a wheelchair after a speedway accident in his native country.
Speedway stars Scott Nicholls, Carl Wilkinson and Chris Louis are down to play along with Witches team manager Pete Simmons. Scott Clarke is managing the Wanderers team and is interested in hearing from former players on Ipswich 226633.
The game kicks-off at 3pm with admission 5 and bar and refreshments available.
Prior to the match, Ipswich Wanderers ladies will be in action.
