Tommy Smith’s fifth minute header proved enough to secure Ipswich Town a 1-0 win at Charlton Athletic on Saturday.

Away wins have been like London buses for the Blues. After waiting more than three months for one, there have now been two in quick succession.

Having kept 11 clean sheets in the final 20 matches of the 2013/13 campaign, this was only the third clean sheet of the season for Mick McCarthy’s men.

The Suffolk side are now just four points adrift of the play-off places heading into back-to-back home games against Blackburn (tomorrow) and Huddersfield (Saturday).

Photographer Warren Page was there to capture all the action.
