Colchester United picked up only their third league win from the last 19 games with a welcome 2-0 victory at Oldham Athletic on Saturday.
The victory eased the pressure on U’s boss Joe Dunne and gave Colchester their first away victory since the opening day of the season.
Latics’ defender Ellis Plummer gave the visitors the perfect start with an early own goal, before Jabo Ibehre sealed the points for the Essex club before th break.
