Harleston Magpies Under 15 Girls went out of the National Cup to a strong Chelmsford side, who in the end ran out as comfortable winners.
Magpies played very well in the first half, containing Chelmsford well and counter attacking at pace through Cherry Seaborn, Verity King and Chloe Hunnable. Magpies had their chances on the break and won several penalty corners.
On the stroke of half time Chelmsford broke the dead lock to make it 1-0, proving to be the turning point of the match.
In the second half, as Magpies gradually tired, Chelmsford were able to assert their authority but Krisina Brinkley, Bryony Lund and Amy Brook defended well. Gradually Chelmsford increased their lead and went away with a 5-0 win.
