A CLUB record unbeaten stretch and progress in the FA Cup have led to Chelmsford City manager, Glenn Pennyfather, being named Manager of the Month in the Blue Square Bet South for November.
The Clarets’ boss, already excited by the prospect of leading his team out at Melbourne against Macclesfield Town in the FA Cup Second Round this weekend, was delighted to receive the recognition, having overseen a successful month for his team.
Among the highlights was a 4-0 drubbing of Conference club AFC Telford United in the last round of the FA Cup, an FA Trophy defeat of league leaders Woking and putting six past Bromley to continue Chelmsford’s push for promotion.
League sponsors Blue Square will present the award to Glenn on the pitch before a forthcoming home game.
