SIMON Grayson has been appointed the new manager of Leeds United, following Gary McAllister's departure on Sunday.
Grayson had worked wonders to take Blackpool into the Championship, where they currently sit in mid-table.
One of the last nails in McAllister's coffin was hammered in by Colchester United 10 days ago, when the U's triumphed 2-1 at Elland Road.
