Colchester United have today completed the signing of striker Kurtis Guthrie, from Forest Green Rovers.
Front-runner Guthrie, who comes from Jersey, has joined the League Two U’s on a two-year contract.
The 23-year-old spent two seasons with National League side Forest Green Rovers, who were beaten in the play-off final by Grimsby Town at the end of last term.
Meanwhile, defender Jamie Harney will remain at the Community Stadium, having signed a new one-year deal.
