This was an all round great game with some splendid hockey, great defensive play from Copping, Miles, Grayling, Miller and junior Copping who gave everything for probably their hardest game this season. With midfield captain Arnold, Partridge, Stennett distributing the ball well to link with attack,
Wesley, Tennent and our hat trick goalscoring buddy Emma, the game was end to end and with a two nil lead to Hadleigh at the interval.
Carlton Park came out the stronger team for the first half of the second part to take the score to 2-2, Hadleigh then woke up and found the stick of Emma to clinch the win.
