A decision on Hadleigh United’s FA Vase opponents and outcome is set to be made on January 8.

Hadleigh were drawn away to either Moneyfields FC or AFC Bitton in the last 32 of the competition after beating Welwyn Garden City in round three, but have had to impatiently wait for a decision from the FA after the pair’s last 64 tie earlier this month was abandoned following a mass brawl.

The best possible scenario could see the Brettsiders, who progressed as far as the quarter-finals of this competition last season, receive a bye into the last 16 with the two teams kicked out for their ill-discipline.

All last 32 ties of the competition are set to be played just 10 days later following on from the FA’s decision on January 18.
