HALSTEAD Town manager Jody Brown has temporarily stepped down for health reasons.
Brown has been unable to take part in the Ridgeons League First Division club’s pre-season preparations in recent weeks.
Reserve team boss Leon Woodford is expected to take charge of Halstead’s first team in the absence of Brown, who still intends to stay involved with the club’s Academy.
