The former Colchester United apprentice left King's Marsh Stadium last month to join Felixstowe & Walton United.

The 24-year-old midfielder originally arrived at AF C Sudbury from another Ridgeons League side, Leiston, in the summer of 2006, and had made more than 100 appearances prior to signing for Felixstowe & Walton United.

Hammond, who had a spell playing professional football in Holland, has also played for Cornard United, Wivenhoe Town and Braintree Town.
