After their success last week, IES headed into this game with renewed confidence.
The first half saw IES set-up camp in the Harleston end, with pressure coming from Ellie Mason on the left and Fiona Moran on the right.
Any break from the Harleston players was quickly tidied up by the experienced back line of Claire Pearsons, Amanda Todd and Maria Whelan and the ball was swiftly passed onto Linda Rose and Shelley Pleasance in midfield.
For all their possession IES were unable to breakdown the solid Harleston defence until the final minutes of the first half when an Anne Edney shot was deflected into the goal by an unfortunate Harleston player.
The second half followed the pattern of the first, with IES continuing to push forward but struggling to maintain any kind of momentum.
In the last ten minutes, Debbie Thorpe took advantage of a goal mouth scramble and much to the relief of the rest of the team, neatly put IES two up.
