Martin and Acock Norfolk Women’s League
Premier Division
MAGPIES hosted Dereham looking to bounce back after last weeks disappointing loss, but didn’t get the start they wanted, going 1-0 down in the first few minutes.
Magpies took a while to retaliate, but got a goal courtesy of Krystal Bishop, before Dereham again stepped up their game and put Magpies 3-1 down. Some good team work and persistence led to Magpies getting a goal back as Kira Wooltorton slipped it past the keeper just before half time, going into the break losing 3-2.
The second half saw Magpies really take charge, and Wooltorton and Bishop got another goal each, ending in a win to Magpies and some much needed points. League action resumes in three weeks time, after a friendly and a week break.
