Ipswich Town’s popular ‘Barcelona-style’ away shirt has still been worn just once, away at Blackburn in October.
Over the last seven days, Town have played away at Portsmouth and Birmingham, who both traditionally wear blue at home, but instead of wearing the maroon and navy away shirt have used a specially-issued orange third kit in its place.
The ‘Barcelona’ shirt was immediately popular with fans after it was revealed in the summer and has sold well since, but supporters have become frustrated having only seen their heroes wearing it during the 2-0 loss at Ewood Park.
