DANNY Haynes has been cleared to play against Leeds United on Saturday despite suffering a cracked cheekbone.
Blues boss Jim Magilton confirmed the Blues striker, who took a hefty blow to the jaw while scoring one of his two goals in the reserves 5-0 win over Northampton on Tuesday, is fit for selection.
Magilton said: “Danny has a little crack in his cheekbone but the specialist has told us he is fit and well enough to pay so he will be okay for Saturday at Leeds.”
The 19-year-old has knocked in seven goals for Town this season, all after coming off the bench.
