LEISTON have been boosted by the news that influential defender David Head looks set to return.
Former AFC Sudbury skipper Head injured his ankle during the home game against CRC on January 31 and has missed the last 12 games in which time Leiston have only collected 18 points.
Head was on the bench for the defeat at Walsham but could feature at Wisbech on Saturday.
One piece of bad news though, striker James Rowe looks set to miss yet another week after his thigh injury was worse than first thought.
Rowe, who has notched 20 goals in 13 games since joining Leiston, has missed the last five games with Leiston failing to score in four of them. Rowe has targeted the away fixture at Harwich next weekend as his comeback.
