Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy held his pre-game press conference on Friday afternoon to preview the visit of Birmingham City, in the Blues’ Championship opener at Portman Road tomorrow.
The Blues boss discussed the latest from the treatment room at Portman Road and explained how Tom Adeyemi, Emyr Huws and Luke Hyam had been training with fitness coach, Andy Liddell, on Friday.
The manager also heaped praise of the young players that were making their name in the Town first-team squad and explained what he expected from the 18 or 20 senior players in his set-up this season.
Meanwhile, McCarthy updated the press on his search for a striker, including the latest news on reported target, Huddersfield forward, Harry Bunn.
