Hadleigh’s under-13’s made history recently, lifting the Suffolk Cup with a 100% record.
Having beaten Colchester and Woodbridge, they played Bury St Edmunds in a must-win game and the odds looked stacked against them at half-time as they trailed 8-0.
In the second half Hadleigh found their rhythm and produced two stunning tries from Toyo Ungelesi and Dan Squirrell, with a conversion from Jake Marston to give them 12 points.
Bury came back in waves right up to the final seconds, but Hadleigh held on and became the club’s first-ever county cup-winning team.
They enter the Eastern Counties Cup on 23rd March.
