Bury Ladies III 1, Lowestoft Ladies II 1
Bury played their best game of the season, the fact they only had 10 players seeming to bring the team together. To start with the visitors spent some time in Bury's half and pushed hard. Bury held strong and attacked, but some well worked short corners did not pay off, until just before the break. A short corner hit out from Helen Wing to Naomi Edwards was struck into the D and after a goalmouth scrabble Wing slotted it into the goal.
After the break Bury knew they needed to stay strong but, unfortunately, they went down to nine players due to an injury. With 10 minutes to go Lowestoft managed to level. There were near misses from Katie Blaymire and Becky Guy.
