Eventually, a short corner paid off, when a clean hit out from Helen Wing to Naomi Edwards saw her score form the top of the D.
The reply from Ipswich was another goal. Just before the break they were awarded a short corner and scored narrowly missing Naomi Edwards's head but luckily this goal was disallowed. It was 4-1 at half-time.
There were some fantastic runs form Jill Wade into the D after the break but Bury could just not score. Ipswich did, managing a further three goals.
Bury have four games to get some wins and avoid relegation.
