An early pushback at Sheringham meant a very early start for the intrepid Ipswich & East Suffolk third XI.
The side were greeted with rainy, blowy and chilly conditions but things soon warmed up once the game started.
Holt, with a ten man line up to start with, fought well but were always on the back foot and fell behind after 25 minutes when Dave Charles converted a penalty corner.
Back up to full strength and Holt had more chances but went 3-0 down with goals from Grayden Webb and Ed Taylor.
The latter's strike causing amusement after he appeared to be disorientated and took what seemed an age to decide where he should put the ball.
Just to show IES that they still meant business Holt managed to slot a goal home taking the ball on the break but it was to no avail as IES took the honours with aplomb.
