Ryman League One North Soham Town Rangers 2 AFC Sudbury 2 AFC Sudbury, who played over a quarter of the game with ten men, shared four goals to earn a deserved point against the form side of the league. All the goals came in an exciting end to the first half.

Soham survived early pressure and opened the scoring after 19 minutes when a short corner found James McCabe and his cross into the box was headed home by leading scorer Luke Stanley at the far post.

Sudbury levelled two minutes later when a long throw into the Soham box found Steve Spriggs who pounced to equalise. Sudbury took the lead after 36 minutes when Spriggs broke down the right and crossed for Ollie Hughes who finished clinically.

A minute later it was all square when Soham broke down the left and Connor Wood’s cross was turned into his own net by Sudbury defender Jack Cawley to level the scores at the break.

The second half was goalless but Sudbury did well to earn a share of the spoils with ten men after defender Ross Watson was sent off after receiving his second yellow card.
