With a slightly depleted team due to injury and unavailability, IES fought well giving 100% work rate. There were opportunities for both teams but to no avail. Godden made a fine save to stop Carlton Park taking the lead.
After half time, with Benny injured in the first half, IES had to continue to battle as Carlton Park never gave them a moment on the ball. IES played the ball around well and worked hard to maintain a clean sheet.
IES can be pleased with their excellent performance against the leaders and hold them to a 0-0 draw.
