For 20 minutes IES had the upper hand and mastery of the pitch, going 1-0 up with a goal from Graydon Webb struck in from the right.
A little confusion in the IES defence allowed the visitors in to level but IES continued to push and were awarded a penalty corner on the whistle for half time, which was again converted by the stick of Graydon Webb.
After the break, IES lost some of their cohesion and this allowed the visitors to score from a free hit just outside the 'D' after rattling about in front of goal.
IES had the play but were unable to penetrate the Nomad's defence and thus ended the game with a rather disappointing draw.
