Brighton were down 11 at the half, but upped their game after the break, and Hayley Rigby’s side needed all their composure to close out the victory.

Elsewhere, there was defeat for the Under-16 Boys on their own travels to the south coast, losing 77-68 at Sussex Storm in a hard-fought game which the hosts closed out at the death. Ethan Price had 41 points for Adam Robinson’s side.
