A trio of Ipswich boxers are set to showcase their talents on TV in the Queensbury Boxing League this weekend.
Mike James, Yisan Rodriguez and Thomas Sumner are all in action on the Resurrection boxing show at the Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey on Saturday.
Rodriguez, known as the ‘Cuban Missile’ is the league’s British light-cruiserweight champion, while James and Sumner are making their debuts on the British Eurosport-televised show.
For James, known as ‘Midas’, the show is the realisation of a life-long dream to box on TV. The Ipswich fighter will be looking to cap a glittering career, which has seen him win numerous British titles, with a fine performance at Epsom.
