Ipswich hockey talents George Pinner and Harry Martin will be shooting for gold in Rio having this morning been named in the Great Britain Olympic squad.
Both Martin, 23, and Pinner, 29, are former pupils at Ipswich School and claimed bronze together while playing for England at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
They were also part of the 2012 London Olympic squad which finished an agonising fourth.
Pinner will be the first choice keeper for GB for the first time at a major tournament, having served as back-up in London, while Martin has long been thought of as one of the best young players in the country.
Great Britain will expect to be right in the middle of the medal shake-up in Brazil, having consistently been among the top few teams in world hockey over the past few years.
