Ipswich II 4 Harleston II 2
Ipswich II will be happy to have played two friendlies now and won both of them.
It is certainly a good confidence booster for the side who are still adjusting to new players coming in.
Paul Calver had a sound game on his home debut and youngsters Josh Fry, Max Underwood and Mickey, a new recruit from Cambridge, all played particularly well.
Two brilliant strikes from the returning James Smith and two cool finishes from Andy Cook were enough to kill off Harleston.
Next week Ipswich II travel to Norwich City without Simon Miller but the side do welcome back Keir Dixon.
