Ipswich IV recorded their 19th consecutive win out of 19 with their largest score of the season.

The result also saw the team record another of their three targets, that of reaching a goal difference of 100. Ipswich IV are already champions and need to record just one more win to achieve their final target of winning all of their league games.

Against Bury the whole team played very well, passing the ball about with control and authority. Last season Ipswich IV's difficulty was not being able to score as many goals as they should compared to the number of chances they created but, in this game, no such mistakes were made and the two strikers did their job professionally, scoring eleven goals between them.

However, Bury never gave up and they should have scored a couple of goals themselves. Marcus Kwan had to make a couple of good saves in the second half to keep yet another clean sheet.

Man-of-the-match went to Owen Cook who was asked to play in a very unfamiliar role as centre back and proceeded to have his best game for the IV XI. Cook was full of energy and he was literally all over the field covering for his more experienced colleagues. His tackling was excellent and distribution was good too.

Unfortunately, with about ten minutes to go, Cook collected an injury and had to be replaced by Williams. Williams took that opportunity to take the next short corner and promptly scored the last goal and finally opened his account for the season.
