IPSWICH’S Elena Baltacha remained upbeat despite her 6-1 6-3 semi-final defeat at the hands of World No.42 Klara Zakopalova (CZE) at the $100,000 ITF event in Prague.
The British No.1 said: “She played really well and she’s one of those players who is tough to handle when she’s on form. Overall it’s been a really, really good tournament for me and I feel like things really came together in my game this week. I’m at lot more confident now after my wins this week and that’ll definitely help me in Strasbourg and at the French Open.”
