Ipswich U15’s entertain Stowmarket this Sunday for a joint training session followed by a match (K.O 11.30am).
Ipswich are resting most of their star players and giving trials to several new players who have joined the club in recent weeks.
Corey Button, from Northgate High School, captains Ipswich in the absence of the rested Toby Trinder.
Head coach Mike Hancock confirmed that training numbers are on the up as Ipswich build towards the defence of the Suffolk Cup early in the new year.
Ipswich are recruiting in local schools and year 10 boys are welcome at Humber Doucy Lane on Wednesdays 6.30 - 8pm for a free four-week trial.
