Larsen Toure is the latest Ipswich Town player to be informed he is being released.

The 31-year-old midfielder, who joined Blues on a one year deal in August after impressing on trial, has made 11 appearances for Town this term but has not featured for the first-team since February due to a groin injury.

“Larsen will be moving on and we wish him well,” Town boss Mick McCarthy confirmed to the club website.

Yesterday McCarthy confirmed Jay Tabb will be released and that Luke Varney will not be offered a new deal.
