GRANT Leadbitter will be leading out Ipswich Town in their Championship fixture at Leeds United on Saturday looking for goals.

The midfielder will be taking the armband from David Noris, who will be sitting out the first of a two-game ban after picking up his 10th booking of the season in Tuesday’s 3-1 home defeat by Reading.

“I’ve not scored enough goals, and this is one side of my game I am looking to improve,” said Leadbitter, who has three to his credit this term all from the penalty spot.

“Perhaps it will be a scruffy goal, but it is time for me to find the net from open play as I need to add this to my game.

“Once one comes I’ll be looking for others to follow.

“We all know that Leeds will be tough, but we have a point to prove after not having the best of games on Tuesday.

“We need to find some consistency in our performances as there is still plenty to play for this season before weook ahead to what we can achieve in 2011/12.”
