ALEX Bruce is set for a recall as Ipswich Town's injuries mount up.
Town manager Jim Magilton today admitted he was considering playing the defender who is out of contract in the summer and not been used since the 3-0 home loss to Southampton at the beginning of March.
With Gareth McAuley and David Wright both injury doubts with hamstring problems Magilton is looking at his options, with Moritz Volz also fit again after a groin operation.
Magilton said: “The injuries give someone else a chance. Alex comes back into the frame.”
Jon Walters is making good progress from his ruptured ankle ligament injury and could be back for next week, while Tommy Smith is back in training after breaking an ankle.
