IT has been all change at Portman Road today, with new boss Paul Jewell enjoying his first full day in charge of Ipswich Town.
Jewell has appointed former Bradford team-mate Sean McCarthy as a new coach, while Ian “Charlie” McParland and Tony Loughlan have both left the club.
McParland was caretaker boss for Town’s 7-0 drubbing at Chelsea in the FA Cup, and the wonderful 1-0 win over Arsenal in last night’s Carling Cup semi-final first leg tie at Portman Road.
First team coach Loughlan, meanwhile, arrived at Town at the same time as former boss Roy Keane in April, 2009.
