IPSWICH Town will host Arsenal in a reserve team friendly next month.
Blues first team coach and reserve team manager Sean McCarthy told the EADT and Evening Star: “We’ve got a lot of players, a big squad and the players in the first team need games as well.
“I’ve sorted out five or six reserve team games already this season and I’ve just this morning now fixed up a game against Arsenal on our training ground for November 1.
“It’s important the players out of the first team have something to look forward to at the end of a week’s training. They need to keep match fit.”
